Role Overview:

As an SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) Tech Lead, you will be responsible for effectively managing and solving production incidents, participating in change management, and continuously improving and automating procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, as a Tech Lead, you will provide expert knowledge in industrial schedulers, web server technologies, and script automation, while also mentoring and sharing expertise with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Effectively manage and resolve production incidents, ensuring minimal impact on business operations and compliance with SLAs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, sysadmin, DBA, and networking, to participate in change management activities and ensure seamless deployments and infrastructure changes.

Maintain up-to-date documentation of applications, including architecture, procedures, and operational requirements, to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure operational continuity.

Monitor applications and infrastructure using monitoring tools such as Zabbix or Grafana, proactively identifying and addressing performance issues and capacity constraints.

Work closely with development teams to define the architecture of new applications, ensuring alignment with infrastructure standards and best practices.

Manage backup data and conduct regular restoration tests to ensure data integrity and availability in case of disaster recovery scenarios.

Lead efforts to automate and improve existing procedures, leveraging scripting languages such as Shell, Python, and PowerShell to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Provide training and share expertise with the team, mentoring junior members and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Act as a backup for the Team Leader, assuming leadership responsibilities in their absence and ensuring the smooth operation of the team.


What you'll need to succeed:

8+ years of experience in similar roles, with a strong background in Linux and Windows environments.

Expertise in industrial schedulers, particularly BMC/Control-M, and proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, and PowerShell.

Strong knowledge of web server technologies such as JBoss, TomCat, Apache, or IIS, as well as databases including Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.

Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix or Grafana, along with good networking knowledge and expertise in infrastructure backups.

DevOps mindset with the ability to thrive in a demanding and fast-paced environment, adapting to evolving requirements and priorities.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and mentor junior members.

Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level) is mandatory, with French language skills considered a plus.

Knowledge of Kubernetes and Openshift is a plus, along with a willingness to learn and evolve in line with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
