Role Overview:
As a Java and Angular Developer, you will be responsible for developing robust and scalable applications using Java eco-system technologies and the Angular framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Java-based applications, leveraging frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot to build scalable and efficient solutions.
Design and implement RESTful web services and APIs using technologies like JAX-WS and REST/JSON to facilitate communication between different systems and components.
Utilize JPA and Hibernate to manage relational databases, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.
Develop user interfaces using AngularJS and/or Angular, along with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, to create responsive and visually appealing web applications.
Collaborate with the development team to implement continuous integration principles and tools, including Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Artifactory, to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities to ensure the quality and reliability of the software deliverables.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, clarify technical specifications, and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software development, continuously enhancing your skills and knowledge to contribute to the success of the team.
What you'll need to succeed:
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Java eco-system technologies, including web services/APIs (JAX-WS, REST/JSON) and frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with AngularJS and/or Angular, along with expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Knowledge of relational databases, particularly Oracle SQL, and experience with database management using JPA and Hibernate.
Familiarity with continuous integration principles and tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, communicating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Fluency in both English and French is mandatory, as you will be working in a bilingual environment.
