Role Overview:
As an ETL Developer, you will play a crucial role in our data management team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support our data integration and analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Stambia and SQL to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and performance.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data sources, and define data integration strategies to meet business needs.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures to manipulate and transform data according to business rules and requirements.
Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality and consistency across different data sources and target systems.
Work closely with the Oracle/Exadata database team to optimize database performance and ensure compatibility with ETL processes.
Utilize version control tools such as Bitbucket and project management tools like Jira and Confluence to manage code repositories, track project tasks, and collaborate with team members effectively.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for ETL processes and data integration issues, working with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve problems on time.
Document ETL processes, data mappings, and data dictionaries to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure the maintainability of ETL solutions.
What you'll need to succeed:
Proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and optimization.
Experience with ETL development tools, preferably Stambia, for designing and implementing data integration solutions.
Strong knowledge of Oracle/Exadata databases, including data modelling, schema design, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with version control tools such as Bitbucket and project management tools like Jira and Confluence for collaboration and task tracking.
Autonomy and self-motivation to work independently and drive projects to completion, with a client-oriented approach to understanding and meeting business requirements.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Fluent in French is mandatory, with proficiency in English for effective communication in a multicultural environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate and reliable data solutions.
